“When I opened my eyes it was a dark place. I heard cries. I saw some light and tried to walk towards it after undoing my seat belt. There was fire everywhere and no one was visible,” stated Zubair from his hospital mattress in a video clip circulated on social media.

He stated when the aircraft had jolts everybody onboard was reciting Quranic verses.
